Readers should note that we(Bilton Conservation Group) are aware that this is/was commercial conifer planting (circa 1929) which had reached maturity.
Chairman Warren Considine reviewed the year starting with conferring Life Membership to Alan and Sue Hughes whose 30 years involvement had encompassed everything from active conservation to managing newsletters and membership.

Over the past 4 years we have organised balsam bashing sessions at Grange Quarry, Skipton Road.
Over the past four years volunteers from Bilton Conservation Group have spent time pulling out Himalayan Balsam, at Grange Quarry.
