May is a wonderful time for wildlife gardening. As the weather warms, the garden fills out, and many insects are on the wing bringing extra colour and sound.
Stock up on flowers that cater for bumblebees, butterflies, and moths. Enhance your nectar café with insect shelters, including homes for solitary bees, bug houses and nesting spots for bumblebees in long grass and soil banks. With these attractions you can bring much more wildlife into your garden and then take part in the National Garden BioBlitzon 4-5 June, and National Moth Night on 9-11 June.
