Bats are very important , they keep the population of moths steady. Most bats eat moths. Some bats pollinate flowers.
Bats come out at night, that means they are nocturnal and some drink the blood of mammals and others, the fruit bat, eat fruit. Some bats catch fish. Bats use SONAR to find their food.
They live in caves, in roofs, trees or anywhere they can find shelter during the day. Owls and other predators hunt bats.
All bats sleep during the winter . This is called hibernation.
Bats can live for up to 10 or 20 years
