Throughout 2010 we have collaborated with Harrogate Borough Council, North Yorkshire County Council, Killinghall Parish Council and Knox Valley Residents’ Association regarding the condition of the walkways approaching Spruisty Pack Horse Bridge. Sponsorship from Killinghall Parish Council, Knox Valley Residents’ Association, Nidd Valley Road Runners and our own fundraising has achieved the target of £3500 to put in place a professional contract to uplift, reset and point the stone setts.
We would ask for the patience of all contributors whilst we resolve some final technical issues with North Yorkshire County Council and Harrogate Borough Council.

In need of a little t.l.c.
Hopefully progress to complete the project will be under way shortly and we will all be able to enjoy safe, refurbished, approaches to the bridge befitting its attractive appearance
